Omega Medical Imaging announces another installation of our new e-VIEW™ Interventional Endoscopy system at the Advanced Center for GI Therapeutics at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.

The inpatient GI Medicine Unit includes 20 beds, all with private rooms and a dedicated staff of nurses, therapists, and physicians providing leading-edge treatments to patients with complex gastrointestinal issues. Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), is one of the most common techniques performed at the center. Combining upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and fluoroscopy, ERCP is used to diagnose and, more often, treat the problems of the pancreas, gallbladder, liver, and bile ducts.

The centers ongoing commitment to offer the best innovative gastrointestinal services is reflected in their recent installation of the e-VIEW™ from Omega Medical Imaging.

The e-view is the only system in the world designed, engineered, and built for GI/ERCP and Image Guided Endoscopic procedures. A precise solution integrating a C-arm, table, imaging system, image processor, and display module, it’s ideal for interventional procedures, such as gallstone removal, stent placement, balloon dilatation, and tissue sampling.

Fully configurable monitor suspensions allow for strain-free, eye-level viewing while flat panel and X-Ray tube lead-shielding reduces scatter radiation exposure. These options, along with a height adjustable table and shock-absorbing floor mats, offer physicians, nurses, and technicians the comfort and flexibility to provide seamless, patient-focused care.

We are proud to add the Advanced Center for GI Therapeutics at Northside to the growing list of leading GI hospitals equipped with the e-view, the leader in ERCP guidance.
