The Heart Rhythm Society’s 36th Annual Scientific Sessions

Taking place in the beautiful city of Boston, the 36th Annual Scientific Sessions run from May 13th thru the 15th. Kicking off the whole event with the keynote address will be innovative author, Steven Johnson, taking place at the Opening Plenary Session at Heart Rhythm 2015.
More than 900 of the world’s most noted experts in cardiac rhythm management will present more than 250 educational sessions showcasing the latest science, discovery, and innovation. These sessions will represent all aspects of pacing, defibrillation, clinical arrhythmia management, ablation, pharmacology, genetics, basic science, and health policy. A program spilling over with educational offerings can present a challenge when choosing one session over another. Following an enthusiastic response last year, Heart Rhythm On Demand is once again included with registration, giving you convenient online and mobile access to nearly 400 hours of presentations so you won’t miss a thing.

Lowering Radiation Exposure during ERCP

In an article in the GIE Journal, 2010, there was a direct correlation between the annual volume of ERCPs performed and the amount of fluoroscopy times required to complete these procedures. The study showed that endoscopists who performed <100 ERCPs in the preceding years needed approximately twice the fluoroscopy time
