The U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted Omega Medical Imaging clearance through the 510(k) process to offer their Artificial Intelligence powered Region of Interest (ROI) Radiation exposure reduction solution for interventional X-ray imaging on their Flat Panel detector CS-series product lines.
FluoroShield™ combines the power of AI, an ultra-fast collimator and the worlds most advanced image processing to deliver a Region of Interest solution that has shown to reduce radiation exposure up to ~84%, seamlessly helping Interventional clinicians better reach their ALARA goals.
