Montefiore Sets the Standard of Excellence with Omega E-View

The Jack D. Weiler Hospital, part of the Montefiore Medical Center, recently opened a new advanced endoscopy lab featuring the Omega E-View fluoro system. The E-View is the only lab designed with features exclusively developed for image-guided endoscopic gastroenterology procedures.

For well over 100 years, Montefiore has been innovating new treatments, new procedures, and new approaches to patient care. Part of the Montefiore mission is to advance the health of the communities they serve. Montefiore raises the bar for medical centers in the region and around the world.

The team at Montefiore performs approximately 14,000 procedures a year using the most advanced endoscopy technology and is ranked among the top hospitals regionally and nationally by U.S. News & World Report.

“Omega really delivered on image quality,” said Dr. Julie Yang. “The E-View is great and performs the procedures we need it to.”

The Omega E-View is the only lab designed with features specifically developed for ERCP and image-guided endoscopic GI procedures.

  • Motorized table for better patient positioning in ERCP and other procedures
  • Large field-of-view flat-panel detector offers superior image quality
  • Exclusive scatter radiation protection for staff
  • Pivots out of the way for full patient access and for non-X-ray procedures
