Loma Linda University Medical Center Performs First ERCP with New Omega E-View Fluoro System

The Loma Linda University Medical Center in California recently performed its first ERCP using the E-View fluoro system from Omega Medical Imaging. The E-View system and lab is part of Loma Linda’s new, expanded campus.

Loma Linda University Health is an academic medical center that operates hospitals and remote clinics in the western United States as well as affiliate organizations around the world. Loma Linda excels in providing outstanding care for their patients and great learning opportunities for their students.

The Digestive Disease Center at Loma Linda University Health is the region’s leader in complex digestive disorders and provides patients access to advanced treatments and technologies typically associated with larger medical centers. The advanced interventional endoscopy procedures performed include ERCP, EUS, radiofrequency ablation for Barrett’s Esophagus, and endoscopic cystogastrostomy. The Center was recognized as “high performing” in gastroenterology for 2019-20 by US News & World Report.

“I’m excited about the level of technology we have access to using Omega – the ease-of-use and really minimizing radiation exposure,” says Dr. Kendrick Che. “And the imaging is great!”

  • ERCP motorized table for better patient positioning
  • Large field-of-view flat-panel detector offers superior image quality
  • Exclusive scatter radiation protection for staff
  • Pivots out of the way for full patient access and for non-X-ray procedures

Omega provides superior imaging during interventional procedures and allows physicians like Dr. Che to provide better care to their patients.
