Largest Hospital in the US Partners with Omega Medical

Set to open its doors in early 2015, the new Parkland Hospital of Dallas, Texas will be the largest hospital in the country.

Twice the size of the current hospital, the 862- bed acute care hospital will offer services such as a Level I Trauma Center, the second largest civilian burn center in the U.S. a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a brand new endoscopy unit.  The endoscopy unit, directed by Dr Deepak Agrawal, also offers a variety of advanced endoscopy services to treat complex pancreatic and biliary diseases, early gastroenterology cancers, drain abscesses etc.

The state of the art facility uses the exclusive e-view flat panel imaging system from Omega Medical Imaging. The e-view is the only system in the world designed, engineered, and built for GI/ERCP and Image Guided Endoscopic procedures.   A precise solution integrating a C-arm, table, imaging system, image processor and display module, it’s ideal for interventional procedures such as, gallstone removal, stent placement, balloon dilatation, and tissue sampling.

Fully configurable monitor suspensions allow for strain free, eye level viewing while flat panel and X-Ray tube lead shielding reduces scatter radiation exposure.  These options along with a height adjustable table and shock absorbing floor mats, offer physicians, nurses, and technicians the comfort and flexibility to provide seamless, patient focused care.

We are pleased to welcome Parkland Hospital to the growing list of leading gastroenterology hospitals equipped with the e-view, the leader in ERCP guidance.
